A cultivar selected in the USA. A moderately vigorous, self-clinging vine with attractive large three-lobed light yellow green leaves arranged like roof tiles. In autumn leaves turn orange scarlet. It climbs by means of adhesive pads at the ends of leaf tendrils. Best grown in a sheltered, well-lit spot but without strong sunlight. Moderately hardy, it may freeze during severe winters. Particularly useful for covering walls, arbours, pergolas, trees, pylons and various kinds of supports.
