Very ornamental large (3-4 cm), white petals of sterile flowers form a garland around the inflorescence. Leaves are smaller than those of the species, almost round, heart-shaped at the base, handsomely toothed, glossy deep green in summer and yellow in autumn. It climbs by adventitious roots. It thrives in moist, permeable, acidic soil. Excellent for growing up trees, pergolas, walls or as ground cover. Particularly useful for partial shade.
