A charming, moderately fast growing cultivar. During June-September it covers with a mass of pale, lilac-rose, nodding flowers. Spreading tepals, edged in darker blue-purple. A healthy climber, it has low soil requirements. Free-flowering and sweetly scented variety, excellent for growing over fences, walls, trellises and poles. It can clamber over natural supports e.g. deciduous and coniferous bushes and dwarf shrubs. Suitable for cultivation in large containers. recommended to both amateurs and experienced gardeners. May be used as ground cover.
