Robust climber of average growth rate, reaching 2-3 m height. Pretty, glossy leaves consist of 9-12 elliptic, light green, pointy and slightly serrated leaflets. Attractive flowers, trumpet-shaped and 10-12 cm long are light orange with yellow anthers. Free flowering from July till mid-September. Thrives in warm, sunny, sheltered sites, in moderately fertile and moderately moist soil. Climbs by aerial roots but in youth requires tying to supports.
Suitable for growing over arbours, pergolas, especially useful for covering walls and solid supports. In harsh winters tend to freeze but it regenerates well. Recommended for growing in warmer parts of Poland and areas of mild climate.
