Tall-growing, reaches a height of 10-20 m (1-2 m of annual growth). Fully hardy, healthy and undemanding species. Green leaves turn brilliant scarlet in autumn giving a spectacular display.
An excellent subject for growing over buildings and fences, but may also be trained over arbors, pergolas and various supports. Suitable for balconies.
