A groundcover rose of long-lasting bloom and high disease resistance. Withstands Polish winters. Well-adjusted to urban conditions.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: Flowers 5–6 cm across, double, colour range from red-pink to salmon-pink; start blooming in VI and blooms repeatedly until late autumn; flowers delicately scented, very numerous, gathered in inflorescences. Leaves dark green, glossy. Stems spindly, thorny.

HOW IT GROWS: A low groundcover rose. The creeping stems are up to 1 m long. The shrub reaches 0.45-0.60 cm height; grows slowly.

WHERE TO PLANT: Requires a sunny or semi-shaded site. The soil should be fertile and moist but well-drained. Thrives in a ground of slightly acidic or neutral pH. Disease resistant. Hardy (zone 6–8).

HOW TO PLANT AND MAINTAIN: Before planting immerse the plant container in water for 10-30 min.  Place the root ball in a 40 x 40 x 40 cm hole with a 10 cm layer of well-rotten manure or compost, 0.5-1 cm deeper than it was before. Fill the hole with fertile compost soil. Regular pruning is not necessary. The only measure that should be taken is removal of dead or damaged shoots in spring.

HOW TO APPLY: Suitable for house gardens and urban greenery. May be successfully grown in a container. Spreads widely, covering the ground.

ORIGIN: Germany. Raised in W. Kordes & Sons nursery in 1993.
