During the largest ornamental horticulture fair in the world – IPM in Essen (Germany), our nursery received a gold statuette in the category of Finished Plants and Trees and a silver one in the category of Young Plants in the 2019 International Grower of the Year Competition organized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH).

At the beginning of December 2018, the international jury selected 9 finalists, including our nursery, and producers from Belgium, China, Denmark, the Netherlands and Kenya.

Stating the reasons behind the golden distinction in the category of Finished Plants and Trees to the Clematis The Source of Good Climbers Nursery we can read: ”For a well-targeted activity that has established the reputation of the Company in the industry as an expert in the field of clematis. It is one of the most innovative companies in the world involved in the production of clematis and other vines, with a vision and commitment to the growth.”

Stating the reasons behind the silver distinction in the category of Young Plants we can read: “Due to the use of the latest technical solutions, the Company constantly improves the conditions for the growth and storage of clematis and other vines, and shares its expertise domestically and throughout the world.”

The awards in the International Grower of the Year Awards (IGOTY) Competition have been awarded to the best producers of decorative plant material for ten years in four categories:

– FINISHED PLANTS AND TREES (final plant product) – plants and trees ready for sale to end customers

– YOUNG PLANTS (plant youth) – young plant material for further production

– CUT FLOWERS AND BULBS (cut flowers and bulb plants) – cut plants for interior decoration and bulb plants (including tuber and rhizome plants)

The competition is organized by the International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH), the international association of national organizations associated with the production of ornamental plants. AIPH co-organizes the largest world horticultural exhibitions, including the International Horticultural Expo and is the editor of the internationally renowned magazine titled “FloraCulture International”. Last year, the association celebrated its 70th anniversary. The AIPH members include Polish Nurserymen Association.
